Our Story
Granted the Chance Foundation was founded by Morgan and Andrew Grant, a husband-and-wife team who have spent nearly 12 years building a life around family, community, and youth sports.
As parents of two children in competitive athletics and coaches for many years, we've had a front-row seat to the impact sports can have on young people. We've watched kids gain confidence, learn resilience, develop leadership skills, and discover what they're capable of when someone believes in them.
We've also seen the other side.
We've seen talented athletes miss opportunities they earned because the cost was simply too much. We've watched families make impossible choices, trying to balance the demands of youth sports with the realities of everyday life. More and more, opportunities are determined by circumstances outside an athlete's control.
That's what inspired Granted the Chance.
We didn't start this foundation because we think every athlete needs a handout. We started it because every athlete deserves a fair shot.
A chance to compete. A chance to grow. A chance to be seen.
Most importantly, a chance to pursue their dreams without financial barriers standing in the way.
Whether it's helping with travel expenses, equipment, training opportunities, or simply providing support when it's needed most, our goal is to help open doors for young athletes and their families.
Because we've seen firsthand what can happen when opportunity meets hard work.
And we believe every athlete deserves that chance.
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn't.
